Josh Smith
Executive Campus Minister
Josh Smith grew up in Mechanicsville, VA just outside of Richmond, VA. He attended Cincinnati Christian University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Bible and General Ministry. In 2002, Josh moved back to Richmond and fulfilled his life’s calling of planting a campus ministries by starting at VCU. He is loved by his wife, Jamie and two kids, Kaleb and Kathryn. Josh enjoys driving around in his beat-up Honda Fit and enjoys watching and coaching baseball.
Dominic Chasse
Campus Minister at Virginia Commonwealth University
Dominic Chasse grew up right outside of Richmond VA in Glen Allen. He graduated from Mid Atlantic Christian University and received a Bachelors in Youth and Family Ministries and Biblical studies. Dominic joined CSF in 2020 and is happy to be back in his hometown. He enjoys all things nerdy and has been known to enjoy a Washington Capitals game here and there. He enjoys nature most and has a desire to see students develop a passion for Jesus and the Kingdom.
Crystal McCarthy
Campus Minister at Old Dominion University
Crystal McCarthy grew up in Northeastern North Carolina. She is a graduate of Mid Atlantic University where she studied theology and counseling. She has a passion for learning people's stories and using her own to reach people for Christ! She is married to and ministers with the love of her life Chris McCarthy. Together they have three amazing...and amazingly different from each other...daughters; Jillian, Chloe and Molly.
Zach & Morgan Moore
Campus Ministers at James Madison University
Zach and Morgan both have a passion for students. Zach is originally from Florida but has lived in Virginia for the past 12 years. Morgan is a native of Virginia Beach but spent the last four years in Harrisonburg completing her degree in social work at JMU. Zach and Morgan enjoy being outside in their free time, but Morgan tends to stay away from mountain biking, something Zach enjoys. After serving as an intern at the VCU ministry, she is looking forward to serving students back at her alma mater.
Jeremy Ferguson
Campus Minister at Old Dominion University
Jeremy grew up in Newport News, studied student ministry at Johnson University and has ministered on the Southside for over six years. He met his wife and partner in ministry, Erin, while at Johnson. She is a 2nd grade teacher at Point O’View Elementary in Virginia Beach and she has played an essential role in all of Jeremy’s ministries. They are both super excited about being able to share Christ and provide love, support, and guidance to the students at ODU!
